Fiftieth anniversary of the Zen Bei Okinawa Meibukan Karate-Do and Mirakian Hanshi's teaching of traditional Karate

Several members of the Canadian Hombu travelled to Watertown Massachusetts from August 27-29 for the

50th Anniversary of the Zen Bei Okinawa Meibukan Karate-Do and Mirakian Hanshi's teaching of traditional Karate.

Celebrations included a seminar given by Feeding White Crane master Liu Chang-I. Traditional Goju Ryu organizations were all represented with individuals and Senseis from the Kodokan, Shodokan, Jundokan, etc.

 

A banquet was held Saturday evening and speeches of appreciation were heard from long term Students, official representatives and branch Dojo heads. We would like to reiterate our heartfelt thanks, appreciation and congratulations to Mirakian Hanshi on his 50th anniversary!
